The most thrilling story of the Old South, widely known as „Gone with the wind“ gives us a deep insight into the most important piece of American history- Civil War, told through a love story between Scarlett and Rhett- a charming rogue with a very bad reputation.

Author Mitchell tells a story of the most independent woman of that time- Scarlett O'Hara who, after becoming poor, struggles every day for her existence being no dame and not shrinking from anything.

In the breathtaking story of the Civil War Mitchell embedded a remarkable love story between irresistible but exaggerated Scarlett and a bit conceited but reliable Rhett and so created one of the most famous lovers of all time.

The book, actually consisting of three books, is marvellous down to the last page and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Enjoy.
